OPPORTUNITIES FROM
CALIFORNIA
These notifications are provided from our
resource in Sacramento, CA. Due to the large volume of information received, I will be posting limited
information about each notice. Should you want more detail about a notification or the attachments, please contact
me by e-mail and include the subject, date, and attachment in your message.
ABOUT THE VIPER LIST
The VIPER list is a compilation of job listings
that several Veterans Representatives at the California Employment Development Department (EDD) put together daily.
The job announcements included in the VIPER list are posted by hundreds of employers, mostly private but some
public/govt, and received by the CA EDD office daily.
Interested Veterans must first create an account
on the Caljobs website (www.caljobs.ca.gov) which is very easy. Then the Veteran
can enter the JC number associated with each job listing on the VIPER list to obtain a very detailed description
of the position and the procedure for applying for that position.
The VIPER list covers the greater Sacramento
area and south to the central valley. The other list is titled the NorCal VIPER list and it covers west of
Sacramento to the Fairfield/Vacaville/Napa area and north toward the Oregon border.
I AM HOPING THIS LISTING WILL RESUME IN THE NEAR FUTURE
